1/2 cup minced onion
1/2 cup peanut oil
1/3 cup rice vinegar
2 tbs. water
2 tbs. minced fresh ginger
2 tbs. minced celery
2 tbs. ketchup
4 tsp. soy sauce
2 tsp. sugar
2 tsp. lemon juice
1/2 tsp. minced garlic
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. black pepper
First off, if you're not going to use fresh ginger, don't make this. Dried powder ginger is great for baking but it's just not even close to a substitute for fresh. Find a small chunk at a grocery store, use some, freeze the rest if you need to.
Put every thing in a blender and puree. That's it.
